The inner rotor ignition Malossi MHR Team II manages several maps at the same time and can be configured without external software / hardware.

The inner rotor ignition systems developed by Malossi are based on the latest technology for racing. Such a new system arose from the need to overcome the technical limitations of the conventional flywheel ignition, which cannot guarantee a constant output of over 10,000 rpm and causes difficult-to-solve setup problems for racing vehicles.

Malossi has made the control unit even less sensitive to interference and developed a uP STM8 - 8 - bit microprocessor with a processing speed of 20 MIPS, which guarantees a more precise ignition point than previous versions!

The MHR Team II contains an adjustable control unit with 3 trimmers and variable ignition timing:
The first trimmer (MAPS) is used to select the ignition advance
With the second trimmer (OFFSET) you can shift the selected map by ± 2 °
With the third trimmer (LIM), which is specially used for 4-stroke engines, you can vary the speed limit between 11,500 rpm and 14,300 rpm and deactivate the speed limiter

There are 8 preset maps to choose from, which are described as follows:
1 variable ignition advance for 4-stroke engines
6 variable ignition timing mappings for two-stroke engines
1 fixed ignition timing map

Other essential components have also been revised, such as the high-voltage coil, which can now deliver a maximum discharge voltage> 40 kV for normal engine speeds from> 3000 rpm and an exceptional run-up time at 10 bar> 1750 V / uS.
One of the most important innovations is the new rotor / stator unit with a completely redesigned static component in terms of mechanics and electronics!
