Black pull starter for Piaggio Ciao models with mono or variomatic drive. Ready to install. The pull starter is suitable for racing and the highest loads.

Installation on the vehicle:

Starter pinion: First clean all mounting surfaces. Then screw the appropriate counterpart for the pull starter onto the coupling or variator and secure the flange nut with a liquid lock such as a. B. Loctite.

Pull starter: Use the enclosed motor screws to easily fasten the housing adapter. In the next step, the round housing is supplemented with the pull-rope starter unit and screwed tight with the M5x45mm screws. Finally tighten the motor screws.

Starting process:

Before attempting to start, pull the rope slowly a few times so that the engine revs idly. Then hold the handle firmly and pull until it meets resistance. The starting process can now be ended with a stronger pull. Tip: Gloves provide more grip!

Attention:

When the pull starter is installed, the treadmill becomes inaccessible (the pedal arms are in contact with the pull starter housing). Therefore footrests, a longer pedal axle or a pedal axle extension are required.
